Jean Stacy Got my attention!

First post: May 18, 2018 Latest post: Aug 9, 2018
Thursday May 10th started as a good day, early for me, ready to do errands on the other side of town. Without going into details due to potential litigation, my spotless driving record would soon be a thing of the past as I rear-ended the car in front of me. Thankfully minimal damage was done to the Honda nor the driver as he was able to  jump out to check on me. Thankfully paramedics had just finished picking up their lunch and were on the scene in less than 5 minutes.

My Mercedes took the brunt of the accident and due to all its safety features, my life was saved and spared from more substantial injuries. I was out of that infamous intersection known as Monkey Junction in probably less than 15 minutes and on the way to hospital.

Mark was golfing when I called from the ambulance to tell him to meet me at the hospital. He understood I was in an accident but not where. As he got stuck in the horrible traffic jam, like everyone else, he was cussing and yelling at the idiot driver! Not until he past my car did he realize it was me!

Trauma surgeons were immediately called in and I underwent a battery of tests to determine injuries. I knew immediately my knees (oh those lovely, complicated knees) sustained major damage. My good right knee was in bad shape, the tibia plateau was broken. The swelling to both legs was so great the decision was made to delay surgery till next day.  My bad left leg was swollen about 3x with several hematomas.

I am wiped out after this little project, so I will continue tomorrow and bring you up to speed. From now on, this will be the main line of communication. I will post on FB links to this page. Please feel free to comment, send jokes, anything but please keep things positive and happy. I ain't got no time for negativity, frivolous BS. Hugs!
