On December 26th, 2017 I started to experience double vision and was taken to the ER by my boss.  The doctors ran a full workup and everything came back negative.  My vision became progressively worse, so an MRI of my head was ordered for April 5th, 2018.  Later that evening I received a phone call from the doctor’s office telling me that they needed to see me ASAP.  When I went into the office the next morning the doctor pulled me into a private room and gently told me that I have cancer in my clivus (located in my skull just above my spine).  After more testing, and more doctor’s appointments it was determined that I have stage 4 prostate cancer which has metastasized to the bone.  Cancer has also spread to my C7 (spinal column in my neck), T8 (spinal column in the middle of my back), and in two lymph nodes in my pelvis.  The doctors are doing everything in their power by taking an aggressive approach to slow down the cancer and gain control.  Thank you for all your support and many prayers now and in the months and years to come!
