In 2017 Lisa received stem cell transplant treatment to battle her cancer. Expecting this treatment to be good for as much as ten years, the cancer returned nine months later. She is currently undergoing experimental treatments, so far without a positive outcome. Lisa is a second cousin of mine and has two older children and is a grandmother as well. She has faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and continues to pray and ask for our prayers.
John 14:12-14 says: 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
God commands us to pray, asking Him in all things. I invite you to join us in this journey as we bring Lisa's request before God, petitioning in Jesus Name by the power of the Holy Spirit, that the cancer leave her body and that she receives God's full blessing and restoration. This journal is to continue until God's will be done here on earth or she is to rest in the arms of our loving Father.
We know - John 3:16 That God so loved the world that he gave is only begotten Son, that whomsoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
