Three months ago, the farthest thing from my mind was me sitting in front of a Caring Bridge Site, writing about my cancer. MY cancer. MY CANCER. Yes, this sucks. BTW, I have Diffuse, Large B-cell lymphoma (I'm not capitalizing "lymphoma." cancer doesn't deserve capitals). Very fast growing, but very treatable. VERY. This is the most common non-Hodgkin form of lymphoma. So, I go from "hurry up and wait" to "strap in for a 10G rocket ride called chemotherapy." The good news: not a bad diet plan, and I can experiment with new hairstyles. So the journey begins: six months of chemo (possibly some radiation thrown in at the end). Starting tomorrow. Tomorrow. TOMORROW. So, buckle up and join me on this ride.
