On March 3rd, Gail awoke at 3AM in the morning in horrible pain. We called the ambulance and they took her to Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford. The ER thought she may have pancreatitis. A CT scan was taken and the pancreatitis was confirmed. A laparoscopic procedure was performed but the doctors did not find the cause, so they did an exploratory surgery and the doctors confirmed that Gail was experiencing acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis.

Since that day, Gail has been in the ICU. While her condition is critical there are many positive signs that point to a recovery. Please check back regularly to the updates on this site to follow Gail’s progress and to offer your words of encouragement.
