Whittney Jones Friends of Indy Jones

I started this journal to share our daughter's story, which, since she was 3 years old, has primarily involved her tumultuous, ongoing fight against Pleuropulmonary Blastoma Type 3, a rare childhood lung cancer. Diagnosed in April of 2018, after a year of treatment and a clear chest scan, we thought we might be finally edging toward remission status. In April of 2019, almost exactly a year later, we discovered that it had metastasized to her brain. Since then, we have gone through numerous treatments and are still fighting to find her cure.
