Fred's story started in February of 2019 when he went for an ultrasound that prompted him to get an MRI. After receiving the diagnosis of cancer on his kidney, the doctor wanted him to have a full body scan to make sure the cancer hadn't spread. Unfortunately they found it in his lungs and on his brain, all which are stage 4. He is currently being treated at Fox Chase in Philadelphia.
