Frank Andrew Parma was born on February 28, 1945 in San Antonio, TX. He was welcomed into Heaven on March 15, 2017. His family is blessed by his unconditional love and commitment. His friends are entertained by his dry sense of humor. When he spoke, it was with honesty, and many benefitted from his wisdom. Most would describe him as a kind and simple man, who loved his wife and kids.
Education was important to Frank. He obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from St. Mary’s University. While in college, he began his career in banking and continued working in finance for over 50 years.
Frank loved fast boats and fancy cars. His prized cars were a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T and a 1971 Triumph TR6. On his 60th birthday, his family surprised him by renting a new Corvette convertible for the weekend.
On April 17, 1974, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior while attending a neighborhood bible study. This group eventually became the nucleus for Richland Bible Fellowship Church.
Frank says, “Marrying Mary Pat was the best decision I ever made.” They married on December 27, 1969, and together have two children.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Pat; his son: Andrew and wife Allyson; and daughter: Patricia and husband Billy. His three grandgirls are Andrew and Allyson’s daughters: Sophia and Giuliana, and Patricia and Billy’s daughter: Abigail
Frank always said Mary Pat is the love of my life. Andrew, Patricia, Billy, Allyson, Sophia, Abigail, and Giuliana bring me happiness and joy.
We will mourn his loss and miss him immensely, but we celebrate that he is now home.
