Frank was  diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer. Given that it has spread to his liver, we are told surgery is no longer an option. We are exploring several opportunities at Georgetown, Johns Hopkins, and Duke Medical Center and would like to thank the tireless efforts of so many that were instrumental in helping these opportunities come to fruition for Frank.  We are assured he will receive excellent care wherever he decides to go and give thanks to God for His comfort and strength during this difficult time.

Throughout the past week, we have been and continue to be astounded with the outpouring of love and encouragement we've received from our friends and family, neighbors and coworkers. Individually and collectively, you have shown us the meaning of community and have reassured us with your words of support and hope.

We welcome all to use this site as a forum for updates on Frank's condition and ongoing journey. We encourage everyone to reach out and leave messages, and promise to be as responsive and timely as possible with any and all updates of information.

We cannot begin to adequately express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for the support, care and concern that each and every one of you have shown us. We are constantly reminded of God's grace and mercy, and continue to look to Him for guidance and strength as we begin the demanding treatment process.
