My Dad, Frank Millette was diagnosed with Stage 4 Urothelial Cancer (cancer of the bladder or Urinary system). He will be undergoing 2 weeks of aggressive radiation. This will be starting Monday April 16th. It will be to relieve the excruciating pain he is experiencing in his hips and legs. After a 2 to 3 week break , and once his blood cell counts get back up he will be starting Chemo to try to stop the Cancer from growing.
Although there is no cure at this point we along with his doctor remain hopeful that with treatment, Frank will get a few more quality years. He has a few rough months ahead with treatments but he is otherwise healthy and strong and going to fight with all that he has. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. If anyone would like to send cards of encouragement or well wishes, I know he would love them and they will brighten his days ahead.
