Forgotten Children

in one way or another, children have always brought a tear to my eye or a smile to my face. The promise of Parenthood is that you will protect your children no matter what. That you will love them even through the trying times. You will hold them when they need affection. You will be there to stop them from dying, if it means ending your own life.

So many parents, are fading that promise. So m parents are only parents because they have to be. It takes a real strong woman or man to be a mommy or daddy. Anyone, with fertility and boredom can be a mother or father. Think about that.

Recently, i spoke with a child, whose words will always haunt me. My mommy and daddy left me at the store, i cried when i couldn't find them. When security brought me to them finally, they told the man, "oops, we forgot,". So much is wrong with that statement. Not to mention it is now engrained in the child forever.
