Just waking up one day in 2018 in October that i had a small lump in my left breast. I went to my doctor in October and she noticed it aswell. My doctor adked me all types of questions, then proceeded with cutting on my breast first without sending my for a mammogram first. After she did the cut she sent me to get a mammogram. The other doctors did notice a mass in my left breast and wanted me to come to get the biopsy done, I went back but my insurance was no good. Now I have been without insurance for 6 month and been to the emergency room twice because the mass was going rapidly. May of 2019 I finally got some insurance and was able to see another doctor and a surgeon. The surgeon did my biopsy and told that I have cancer. Finally things were coming together. I was able to see an oncologist and he told me I have stage three breast cancer and needed to start treatment quickly. I did a lit of test to make sure that the cancer didn't spread in my body which it didn't it was coming out of my breast. Finally got started with my chemotherapy treatment in May 2019 and on going treatment right now. This has been a hard journey for because, I have been out of work since April 2018 and also trying to make ends meet. My boyfriend works from sun up to sun down to make sure all the bills are paid. My daughter was here helping me until she had her baby August 9, 2019 so now my boyfriend takes me to my mom's hoyse every Thursday so she can take me to my appointments on Fridays and then he picks me up after my appointment. I still have a long way to go for my treatments and I will not be finished with my treatments until 2020 of May or June but I will see and I keep everyone in the know of my situation.
