Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Ferdie collapsed during the thirty fourth minute of his high school soccer game on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.  He was unresponsive by the time the coach and medical trainer were able to get to him on the field, but was resuscitated through the use of the mobile AED that was carried with them.  After stablilzation at the local hospital he was taken by Flight for Life to the UW Madison Medical Center where treatment was continued.  Our hearts are eternally grateful for the dedication, wisdom and knowledge shown by the two individuals who on the field who certainly saved his life--as well as for the care he has continue to receive from so many amazing people along the way.  We feel incredibly blessed by the numerous prayers that have been said for him by people far and wide--by those who know him and those he has not yet had the opportunity to meet.  Above all,  we praise God for His infinite power and wisdom.  We truly feel that he is holding us in His loving arms.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. " Jeremiah 29:1-13
