In late March, I was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, or bile duct cancer -- specifically a Klatskin Tumor. This came as a real shock as it is a rare form of cancer and I did not fit the demographic for the typical patient with this disease. This journal will share the story of my search for the best possible treatment, which appears to be a liver transplant, and provide an update on my condition during that journey.
