welcome, As most know, dad has small intestine cancer. Fortunately it was caught rather early and may be irradiated by surgery. The surgery is called the Whipple procedure. The surgery is very invasive and internal organs are being taken out. (Dad says he will be the hollow soldier that Tim Conway did a skit on). Surgery will be about 8 hours. Recovery can be difficult so he will be in the ICU up to 10 days or so. Leave well wishes for dad!
