My health journey started 5/2009 with a diagnosis of Renial Cell Carcinomia and a few weeks later a Kidney removal.. and the cancer was contained so no cemo or radiation.. Praise GOD!! 
Which was just a month after or so after Lisa and I had our first born, Maddie.. and just a year prior to that Lisa and I had just been re-married after being divorced for 8 years.    Another miracle!! 
All that being said I knew God had a plan.. So over the course of the next 7 years we were just plugging along raising our daughter and living life and in 2015 it became apparent that the kidney that I was left was not going to make it , So we went to UT SouthWestern at Dallas , and at the time my kidney function was 21% , and I was told it had the be below 20% to start the process to be listed for transplant.. So I said “God I know you have a Plan so in your timing .. “


1 year later in Oct 2016 the Kidney function was at that 19% magic number so we started the process of getting listed to receive a kidney. After several months and a lot of test I was approved for transplant along with over 100,000 others in the US  and the search began for a donar along with the wait for a cadaver donar (approx 5 years)....  “its in your hands”
Over the next 6 months my wife decided to become a donar and statrted the 6 months of testing to potentially give her kidney to a family in need that could possibly provide a kidney for us. One week after she was approved to be a donar we were approved to be a part of an experimental transplant program that would put her A type kidney in my B type body.. at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona.. well that’s not what God had planned.. 2 days later UT Southwestwrn Dallas called and ask if we would be interested in doing a swap..
Lisa would donate her kidney to a family and the have a donar that is ready to go and the hat has been worked up that is my blood type.. B+ .. Which less then 15% of the population has my blood type..  “God has answered the prayers of the many who have been lifting this to heavens over the past year”
 So to those who have remembered my family and continue to do so  in your prayers over the past year we are GREATFUL!!!!
Lisa will be giving the gift of lif to a family and I will be receiving that same gift...
 The date has been set to 1/8/18
