I never figured I'd ever be doing this, but here it is, the story of my battle with the motor neuron disease ALS, aka Lou Gehrig's Disease.  I was diagnosed on Friday, January 6, 2017, in Bismarck, ND, at CHI St. Alexius by Dr. Tessa Marburger.  My world has been a roller coaster ride since receiving the news of my diagnosis.  The love and support my family and I have received has been so overwhelming that there is no way we can ever show our appreciation and gratitude to all those who have been a part of this journey.


It seems as though I've told and retold my story hundreds of times to friends and family members in the last two weeks.  So, here it is:
