Our family feels it has become necessary to let those of you who are friends of my sister Emily Simer Braun know that her health has taken a turn for the worse.  She’s run into a number of complications recently and her condition has been deteriorating.

Because we respect Emily’s desire for privacy, I can’t be more descriptive about her condition—but because I so believe in the power of prayer I ask those of you who feel able to, to please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. It’s a very difficult situation and she needs all the spiritual support that she can get.  So sorry we are feeling the need to notify you all about this downturn.  Hoping and praying for some better news.


We hope to use this site to give friends and family the opportunity  to reach out to her in ways they otherwise might not be able to do.  Please feel free to make a journal entry, submit pictures and just let her know that there is a network of love out there for her.  I’m sure this site will take on a life of it’s own, and we will continue to work on it.  But we’d definitely like your participation.  We’ll also use this private site to give people a little more insight into all the goings on in her current struggle.


We want Emily to feel the love surrounding her.   We hope you can help with making that happen.
