On Tuesday, July 24th Emily had open heart surgery to remove 16 inches of muscle from her heart. We found out she had an enlarged heart and a brain aneurysm in June of 2016. She came through her surgery wonderfully and is making a full recovery. We expect to meet with the neurosurgeon again on August 20th to schedule the procedure for her aneurysm.
