Elliot was diagnosed with a football sized Wilm's Tumor on his right kidney in July 2009. He had the tumor and kidney removed in August followed by radiation and chemotherapy. He just had scans done in February 2010 and is doing great! He will have his port removed in March and will be down to monthly check-ups after that!
Thursday July 23rd Elliot went to his pediatricians office for a slight fever and possible ear infection. During the exam the doctor thought he felt Elliot's liver when pressing on his tummy so he sent him to the hospital for XRays and Ultrasound. After those he had an MRI and CT Scan which have shown that Elliot either has a Wilm's Tumor or Neuroblastoma that is the size of a football.
