Ella was diagnosed with high risk Medullablastoma (cancer), shortly after an MRI scan on December 18 revealed a tumor in her brain. After having the tumor removed on December 22, she developed Posterior Fossa Syndrome, which left her unable to communicate, control motor functions, eat, etc. In addition to going thru intensive therapy to re-learn these skills, Ella will start radiation and chemotherapy within the next several weeks to start fighting off the cancer.
We will share updates on Ella's progress throughout this journey.
