In June 2020 I noticed a lump in my right breast. On 7/29, I went in for my very first mammogram, and the radiologist showed me a "very suspicious" monster like an ugly starburst inside my breast. On 7/31, I had a biopsy, and on 8/5/2020, the monster got a name: invasive ductal carcinoma "with lobular features." Breast cancer. Ultimately, I've been diagnosed with ER/PR+, HER2-, Grade 3, Stage III breast cancer.

This site will let me keep family and friends updated on my battle. Warning: my feelings and the information available may change from day to day, and I may not always get the words right the first time. :-)
