Eleanor Grace Rognlien was born on Wednesday, July 20 at 9:01 pm.  She weighed in at 8lbs 2oz and is 20" long.  She is a beautiful baby - perfectly created - a true gift from God.

Eleanor was born with a heart defect. She is at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and had open heart surgery on Tuesday, August 2.  They know exactly what is wrong and have a comprehensive plan on how to fix it. In the world of congenital heart defects, it is a very common one and she should lead a very normal life after it has been repaired, with a few follow up surgeries throughout her life. She is in one the top 3 hospitals in the country for baby heart surgeries and has an excellent team surrounding her. Thank you all for your love, support, and prayers. It is truly humbling to know how much we 3 are loved.
