Beginning on August 18, 2021, Ed was admitted to the hospital with Covid pneumonia. After spending approximately nine days on various levels of medium and high-flo nasal cannulas and eventually two days on a BiPAP, the decision was made to intubate him on the afternoon of August 27, 2021.
Ed is the father of five children (Sean, Sarah, Ellen, Andrea and Caitlin), and has 23 grandchildren who love their Bapa very much!
