My story began 2 weeks ago when I found out I had stomach cancer that metastasized to my liver and lymph glands.  The treatment consists of Chemo twice a month for three months, followed by surgery, and then three more months of Chemo.

The healing process is in motion.  The port was surgically installed today and I am ready for the first round of Chemo tomorrow.

I am grateful for all of the outpouring of prayers and support from family, friends and the doctors and nurses at Emory.

It is greatly appreciated.  It touches my heart and lifts my spirit.

I'm ready to "take the hill"!
