Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

On the evening of July 31, 2016 Dustin had an accident riding his dirt bike on our property. He had just started riding the bike when the person who witnessed it said the front tire jerked sideways throwing Dustin over handle bars head first.

Dustin was rushed to Good Samaritan in Lafayette, CO. They found bilateral brain injuries that required immediate surgery to stop the bleeding and remove the skull plate on the right side to create space for swelling.

The surgeries were successful and they were able to stop further damage to the brain. In addition to his head injuries he has various broken bones including skull fractures, shoulder blade, ribs, and fingers.

Dustin is stable now and slowly recovering every day.
