Duane was born with only one kidney, it didn't split into two when he was in the womb. No one knew this until about 5 years ago. He was later diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease, which is now at stage 5, also known as end stage. Time for a transplant...this is where Miranda comes into the picture. She was the same blood type as Duane and ended up being a perfect match! Thank you Jesus. Now today is the day, the day we've all been waiting for and have all been secretly a little afraid of.  Miranda has her surgery at 7:30 AM and Duane will have his at 9:30 AM. Asking for prayers that all goes well, pray for the doctors, the nurses, the procedure, the recovery, and for the family that loves these two more than anything in the world!
