First we want to thank you for for praying and supporting us through this journey. We know that God's got this, he has been showing up in ways that are awesome and amazing. 


 Doug had been having vague symptoms that persisted for several months and a colonoscopy was scheduled on December 27, 2016. Doug had had a colonoscopy 15 months prior and there were no findings. A  tumor was found as a result of this procedure.
Doug has had several tests for diagnosis and staging of the  tumor and we have a few more appointments before he will begin treatment. 
Doug will need 5 weeks of Radiation and Chemotherapy before he can have surgery for the best surgical outcome.  We are hoping to begin treatment as soon as possible.  He will need 6-8 weeks of recovery to be able to have the surgery to remove the tumor. 
We ask that you join us in prayers that Doug tolerates the Radiation and Chemotherapy treatments well and he recovers quickly so he can have the surgery to remove the tumor.  During surgery they will place an infusion port avs he week receive IV Chemotherapy for 4 months.
