Doug had a brain bleed stroke on Wednesday, November 6th while we were snorkeling in Key Largo. There were many wonderful people to help him out of the water and a Nurse Practitioner who happened to be on board! We went to a local hospital, then moved to Baptist Medical Center in Miami. He is getting wonderful care but it has been, and will continue to be, a long process! We are so grateful for all of the support, well wishes and most of all your prayers. Our goal is to get back to Overland Park but not sure how long it will be before Doug is stable and strong enough to travel.
