Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. Doug was recently diagnosed with heart failure. He went in for bypass surgery on Tuesday the 12th of Feb but the operation was not successful. He has been unconscious and on life support (ECMO). On Friday mid day he received a temporary Left Ventricle Assist Device (LVAD). This device will pump his blood through his body and will hopefully allow him to regain consciousness and a new lease on life. Doug’s family thanks you all for your love and support. Please use this site to keep up with and offer support to Doug and family.
