Back in March we were told the devastating news that Mom had been diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. She began chemotherapy shortly thereafter and showed some encouraging progress until late September when we learned that the cancer had advanced to the point that active treatment really would no longer be effective. With the loving support of her family, Mom has decided to enter at-home hospice care. She has been strongly guided by her faith in God and is at peace with her decision.
