Tomorrow, Oct. 27, Don will be undergoing Coronary Bypass Surgery. His journey to this event began this summer with routine testing by his cardiologist. These results led to more testing and it was determined that Don has 70% blockage in two coronary arteries and that his heart is operating at 50%. The surgery has been strongly recommended by the doctors he has consulted. We all agreed that it would be best to have this surgery close to family, so Don is with Rich and Martha in Denver and will be having the surgery at the Aurora Medical Center. We have every confidence in his doctor and his medical team here. We will keep you posted on this site as to his progress in this journey. Your comments and support are welcomed and we will share these with Don.
