Hey everyone. Some of you already know this, but for those of you that don't, On December 13, 2017 I was diagnosed with cancer. Trying to get this message out to everyone individually has been an impossible task. I am truly blessed because I have an amazing family behind me, supporting me and loving me. I have experienced such love and kindness and empathy from family and friends across the world. I have seen such kindness from doctors and nurses and pretty much everyone that I have encountered. What I have learned over these past several weeks is that love and faith truly do have healing abilities. All my life I have told people that I am strong. That I am tough. And now more than ever do those words mean something. I am a fighter and I am going to be around to see my family and friends flourish and succeed. I have so much to live for and so much more to do. I will be starting a website on Caringbridge.org in order to do little updates to keep everyone informed of my progress. As soon as I have that all set up I will post the information. I'm not as tech savvy as I thought I was! My best advice to all of you is to appreciate the beauty life has to offer. Be kind. Smile and be grateful. Love those in your life who are in your life and please do not take anything for granted. Be kind to strangers and give compliments to everyone. And forgive. Don't hold on to nonsense from the past as it doesn't do any good to anyone. Especially yourself. Don't look backwards. You're not heading in that direction. Have a great night everyone.
