 Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  


One day I asked GOD, "LORD you know how I get down? If you just let me survive this night and live to see my kids get out of school, I will continue to take care of them to the fullest of my ability. You know, no one will take care of them like I will." At that time my youngest child was 6 months old. Seventeen and a half years later my daughter is grown with 3 kids and married. My son is 17 and at the University of Arizona playing football in the Pac-12 as a freshman. I did what I had to as a functioning paraplegic. I'm not even adding the hundreds of obstacles I had to jump over during this time, metaphorically speaking. Through it all, I'm still here and at least 2 times every year I drop my head and ask why? Then I asked for that strength to carry on while I'm still in a wheelchair with chronic pain every day. I went through a divorce, incarceration, and I am still here continuing to hold my head up high. When I can't I ask for the strength, I'm blessed with it!


                                                                                                           I live by the motto:“Never let them see you sweat.”


That day I asked the LORD to let me live, I was lying on the ground with a bullet hole in my chest, that ricocheted off my shoulder bone and went down my spine. GOD is good and he can take you through anything.
