Carolyn and I appreciate your interest in my first major medical adventure. It is a triple bypass, "valve job" and "oil change." We will be updating this CaringBridge site on a regular basis. Stay tuned in.
The deed will be done on Thursday, July 5th. Hope the medical team doesn't party too hard on the 4th.
Recovery time will be 4 to 6 weeks (80% functionality); a couple months more to 100% full throttle. What a way to spend a nice summer! Oh well! At least with modern medicine I'll be enjoying many better summers in the future.
