***Update****
Denise is now home and continuing her recovery :) she is on oxygen and other meds for her congestive heart failure.
Denise is currently in ICU diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension and congestive heart failure. She will need surgery to repair/replace the tricuspid valve in her heart but they are running additional test to determine the cause of the pulmonary hypertension first as they think that what caused the damage to the valve.
*update: heart cath revealed her tricuspid valve was not severed as originally thought just weak and worn out but will not require surgery. Just less strain on it to allow healing over time.
Sleep Apnea seems to be the source of the problems so long term prognosis seems good just taking a longtime to get her stable enough to continue treatment at home.
