Welcome to Denise Ambrose's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.   As you know, Denise has been a member of the club no one wants to join and has been battling a rare form of leukemia for several years.  She has been inspirational to many on her journey of fighting the beastly rogue cells in her body while  maintaining her sense of humor, interest in fitness (even when in isolation), enjoying her animals, visiting her beloved beach, and sharing love and wisdom with many.   Within the last few weeks, Denise has been experiencing some symptoms that were worrisome and it turns out that the leukemia has decided to morph into a different form and cause problems again.  As usual, Denise is tackling this latest challenge with characteristic strength, grit and humor.  She is very busy saving her strength, spending energy on resting and having quality time with her guys, Drew, Reilly and Brenden.  She asked for this update to be created so that you can leave she, Drew, Reilly and Brenden messages of support but asks for no calls or expectation that they will be able to respond to texts or emails.   As she and Drew are able, they will share updates here so please sign up to get notifications to receive word as there is more to share.  In the meantime, please keep Denise and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
