Deb Jewett Deb's Recovery Site

First post: May 2, 2018
Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

For those who don't know, Deb normally, outgoing, fun and silly woman full of life was trampled at the State Fair in 2016.  She has sustained injuries to her head, hips and has lost much of her cognitive and memory capabilities.  She now struggles to walk aided by a cane, walker,  sometimes wheel chair and scooter.   She was run over by a sea of angry young men in a hurry to get from one end of the fair to the other and they bowled over anything or anyone in their way.  As far as we can tell Deb was hit with so much force that she was literally lifted and thrown at least 5 feet from where she was standing.  She landed on her hip and her head bounced off the ground.  Once she landed, she was then stepped on and kicked multiple times on her body and head.  She has no memory of what happened after the blur of activity.  Please join us in supporting Deb's recovery.
