On Friday, April 27, I went in for my yearly Mammogram. It was a year and month from last year. The following week, I missed a phone call from the imaging office. An hour later, I called them back and they told me they found a suspicious spot on my left breast and wanted me in for a sonogram as soon as possible. I scheduled for the following morning and thought this has to be nothing. Little did I know this was the start of my cancer journey.
