David was life flighted to St Joseph’s Hospital in Denver for emergency surgery Friday night, June 7th, for a dissecting aortic artery. His surgeon, Dr Mark Ammons, completed a successful repair after a six hour surgery. David was transported from the OR to the ICU, and is continuing his stay in the unit while he heals. He is receiving excellent medical management and nursing care, and is making slow but steady improvement. It will be a long road to recovery, but we are thankful for wonderful care, and loving and supportive friends and family.
