I have decided to start this site so that there can be more detail given in how dad is doing during his illness. I will try to explain the medical terminology so it is better understood by everyone and definitions to describe medications, procedures, diagnoses and treatments. I also want to invite all who are visiting the site to share positive words of encouragement that we can share with him while he is here and when he is recovering. 

This section is about dad's condition and what he has going on at this time. Dad has been diagnosed with multiple organ failure. His kidneys are shut down and he is on dialysis aka "mini kidney." His liver, pancreas and gallbladder are stable at this time. He was intubated on 7/20/2018 to allow him to rest and decrease is acidotic condition.
