When on a long haul-flight home from Sydney in May 2016, I started experiencing  strange symptoms that lead me to an urgent care visit a week later.  My 13 year-old daughter, Piper was wise enough to convince me I shouldn't just assume these symptoms were unimportant or that they would disappear.  At that visit, they found a brain lesion and the journey began.

I am was then  scheduled for surgery at The Mayo Clinic on July 5.  They removed as much of the tumor as possible while attempting to avoid substantial/permanent neural deficits.  The goal is to learn more about the tissue so that we can set the course for what will likely be additional treatments.

There is a lot of good news in my story.  More on that later.  God is good, always.  :-)  I'll try to provide more details soon and my sisters and daughter Hayley will be authoring updates if I cannot.

I am grateful for all the love already received and so many prayers already answered.  Your support is inspiration to me.

Love each other ... love yourselves ...  keep the faith.
