Dakin was diagnosed with Stage 3 Anaplastic Astrcytoma in the left temporal lobe. She underwent brain surgery in May of 2021. Her vision has been affected by the tumor leaving Dakin unable to drive, and completely reliant on friends and family for transportation to treatment and doctor visits.
