Let’s see where do I begin my story…mmm🤔. Well I’ll just jump right in.....I was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia in in September 2017 after a neck node biopsy was performed. It was quite the journey to get this diagnosis though.

It started in the early part of 2017… I started having “smoke signals “mild bruising on my legs and fatigue especially in the early afternoons and evenings that I attributed to my age and work. I kept it to myself and swept these symptoms underneath the rug…not knowing they would rare their head back up later in the year.

By The time March rolled around for our very anticipated 1 week trip to Memphis/ Nashville trip came up and my body really thru up more smoke signals of extreme fatigue, dizziness, bruising, Shortness of breath, and occ nausea . Deep down I suppose I knew something was going on but I chose to ignore it in hopes that it would pass quickly. I put 1 foot in front of the other and had the best time of my life with my sweet hubby on that trip.

To be continued....
