In mid July 2021 Anne was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma in her right breast and at least one lymph node. While waiting for further testing she ended up in urgent care with a pathological fracture of her L2 vertebrae confirming that the cancer had metastasized to her bones: spine, ribs, pelvis, skull and sternum. She is currently listed as stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.  While this is not information anyone wants to receive, our family is full of hope and positive thoughts. Our biggest concern is our children and the impact this will have on their lives.  We are immensely blessed with friends, family and community wide support and encouragement. Thank you!
