As many of you know, I was recently diagnosed with cancer. My doctor recommended major surgery to remove the cancer and to prevent its future growth. I chose the UNC Medical Center as the place for the surgery. I have met with the team of professionals who will perform the surgery and assist with my recovery after the surgery. I have confidence in the team of people who have been assigned to my care. The surgeon has handled "sixty to seventy surgeries a year" to quote him. He comes highly recommended and I have every confidence that if it can be done, he can do it.
