Carol was admitted to the hospital on Friday, February 10th for emergency surgery to remove a growth/blockage from her intestine. Pathology has still not been completed but we are hoping for the best possible outcome.
The initial surgery to remove the growth and a portion of her intestine went well and she is currently recovering. She is anxious to get out of bed and get moving much to her nurses frustration!
We will look to keep everyone posted through this page and please share your support and words of hope and encouragement. Long road ahead but she's a tough lady!
