As many of you know, CJ was diagnosed on August 26, 2016 with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma B-cell type. This was first discovered by CJ feeling a right sided chest pain. A lump eventually surfaced after several months and at this time more diagnostic test were ordered. He received news on August 2, 2016 that the pain he was experiencing was due to a torn pectoralis muscle. However, under that torn muscle was a mass that extended across his chest invading his muscle, chest wall, and several lymph nodes. After much consideration CJ, with his family, have decided to receive treatment in Houston at the world renounced MD Anderson.  Dr. Neelapu, his oncologist, is very hopeful that after 6 rounds of traditional chemotherapy this tumor will disappear! The past month has been extremely stressful, frightening, and exhausting for CJ and his family. We couldn't have come this far without the love, prayer, and support of our family and friends. We want to thank each and every person for their concern and positive reinforcement. From this point on, we will be using this caring bridge to keep everyone informed on the progression of CJ's healing path. We all know that CJ is a fighter and will push through this illness to a clean bill of health!
Thank you and God Bless
