Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated about Cindy's progress in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Cindy woke up about 5:00 am on Friday, February 24. Her plan was to get dressed and go to yoga class. Shortly after she got up Cindy suffered a stroke. Since she was unresponsive, Jim and Andrew got Cindy in the car and to the ER at St Lukes. She was given TPA to dissolve the clot which was successful.

When Cindy woke she was unable to speak, strength on her right side was less than on the left, and her mouth drooped on the right side. She was very frightened and confused.

She was glad to see Jim and especially Andrew. Julie, Cindy's sister, and their Mom and Dad were also able to see her, hug her, and tell her she was going to be ok.
