Saturday, August 5th, Cindy collapsed from a major heart attack. The blockage was in the LAD (left anterior descending) which runs down the front of the heart and supplies the front and main wall, and then the left circumflex that supplies the side wall. They rushed her into emergency surgery to repair it and were able to get blood flowing through the heart and to her organs again. On Sunday early morning after surgery we were told there was a 50/50 chance that she would wake up. Today she is breathing on her own, drinking water, eating very small amounts of food, and even talking. What we're watching now is her memory. Because of us not knowing how long her brain went without oxygen, we aren't sure what kind of brain damage occurred in that time. We are all hoping and praying that she makes a quick and full recovery but the process isn't easy. We don't want donations or gifts or anything, this is purely just to give information to everyone who loves her on how she's progressing. We will try to update at least every day to keep all informed.
